So i did all the stuff that i said i was going to do about my car pinging/breaking up passed 5,200rpm. So after i did it i take it out let it warm up, and its running great. I hammer it in first and it pulled hard, it still make a wierd breaking up kinda sounds past 5,000 but it revved hard right past it, i hit 2nd and then 3rd and it revved hard to 6,000 but it sounded a little funny(but not like pinging) past 5k. I come to a stop and its ideling horrible, under my left valve cover its ticking pretty loud. There is no check engine light but when i plug my code reader in it says code 314(Thermactor air system fault/left side) and then it says CYL 8. It doesnt surge or anything just feels like my balancer is messed up or something(idles very rough and shakes) but its not that. My dad says the tickin sounds like a colapsed lifter or bent pushrod.
