its a 98 cobra. not sure on the mileage. im tradin him my 03 ranger for it.

the car is black on black, cobra r hood, i think he cut the stock springs to lower it but not sure, the motor has the mach 1 crank, rods, pistons, etc., exhaust(o/r x w/ flows), has 4.10s in it but he is gonna put the 3.27's in it for me, and nitto DR's

tell me what you think. this is all in the best interest for the 5.0 of course

That Cobra will smoke the Fox in every performance category. Why does it have Mach1 internals? IDK if the Mach1 crank is forged like ALL the SN95 Cobras. Also leave the 4.10 in, that is one of the most important mods to have in a 4V. Night and day difference in how the car behaves.
Thinking about the Mach internals, did he just swap a whole Mach1 block? That would suck loosing the Italian aluminium block for the cast iron version

Make sure it isn't abused, but with new parts like that, gears and DRs, sounds like it might have lead a rough life.

yeah that sounds fishy, I wouldnt trade a cobra for a truck unless I was trying to unload a steaming pile. especiallly when rangers are a dime a dozen.

Why is he putting 3.27's in?

Those DOHC's love 4.10's or higher!

Not calling any bs here. I am seriously curious, if he used all Mach1 internals did he use the Mach1 block too? And the gear thing I can tell you first hand, I went from 3.27 to 3.73s and have no MPG difference and from what I hear the 4.10s only loose 1mpg on average. The car is so much faster with the gear it FEELS like an extra 30hp. I know there is no hp difference for those getting ready to flame, just feels that much quicker.

EDIT: NM I see in another thread its a GT or Mark block, two bolt you said? Thats why the trade, dosent have the valueable block in it anymore

One issue your going to run into, the Cobra will probably be faster, handle better, more comfortable, sound better, and attract more ladies. You wont want to drive the fox anymore.
