Ok. Im not sure what my best scenario would be but im also on a budget.... I know you get what ya pay for yadda yadda yadda...... But.. Im gonna have to look inot rebuilding my engine seeign as I blew it up... I have no Idea where to start..... what parts do you normally get to rebuild the motor??..where do you recommend I get them from and how much should I expect to pay?....Any info on any of this is a bigtime help to me cause I have no clue whatsoever!!!..am I cheaper building it rather than buyign a new shortblock??...etc..

Thanks

nows the perfect opportunity to pick up a markVIII engine and go 4v :nice:

the cheapest route is to pick up a used GT engine and just swap it in...only bad part about that is that u still have a stock gt engine

do u want a forged bottom end? what are u looking to get out of the engine?

in all seriousness tho, u need to figure out how much youre willing to/can spend on this project. only then can we really help you, otherwise people will suggest outrageous things that u dont have the money to spend

+1 what is your budget? Even doing it yourself can get expensive.

^^Agreed we do need an idea of what your budget is. The cheapest route would be to buy another GT engine, swap them and be done with it. I would be looking at a built shorblock/longblock since you must be putting some type of abuse to it if you blew it up. A 4V would be nice to have as well, but everyone has to see that likely all the power we could really need/want for the street is possible out of a 2V with a blower. Just do what you gotta do man.
