I've had my car for 7k miles....it just hit 50k. It's run really well except for about 2 weeks ago when it was raining during lunch. I went out to start my car and it fired up..then immediately shut off..I'm like wtf? It took 3 times before it would start and idle. Since it wsa raining i thought maybe it was dampness or somthing stupid like that...anyway...i've run it numerous times in teh rain and it hasn't done it since. (kinda ruled out the dampness thing) Since then it has done it a couple times only when i start my car up for lunch. It fires up no prob first thing in teh morning. So today when i left for lunch i tried 5 times and it will wouldn't idle...just fire up and then die. So i had to actually keep revving it to keep it running till i got on the road and drove for a couple miles. I've been reading that other owners have to clean or change their IAC often. Does this sound like a IAC problem? If so...do you use brake cleaner to clean it? Anyone have any pics of which sensor it is on the TB? (i'm assumingit's on the TB) This is stupid...my carbed mustang starts better than this thing. :notnice:

the IAC sensor in located to the right of the throttle body. it is a small round motor that bolts onto the plenum. best was to describe it is that it looks like a little bottle, with a dimond that has 2 bolt holes on it, then on the other end a black plug.

edit-use carb cleaner to clean it!!!
