out goes the 04' Cobra, in goes the 93 LX H/B

I have been a member of this forum for many years now and had a 2000 GT, then sold for a 2004 Cobra, now sold that and now I just purchased a 1993 LX. Always loved the older 5.0's and this was too good of a deal to pass up. Mods listed below with a short video also....motor is built for boost and I am thinking ProCharger or Vortech down the road. Let me know what you guys think. Car has run an 12.5 @ 111mph pre heads/intake and new MSD stuff, made 310/335 before the TW heads and intake went on and was not really tuned. I am thinking with a good tune maybe 350/375 and possibly get in the 11's. Oh and the car weighs a tick less than 3000lbs. with a 1/4 tank of fuel.

Bad ass.

I think that's the first polished TFS intake I've seen. Talk about a lot of shiny.

I really don't believe it made 310/350 on a chassis dyno before the heads/intake went on.

It is a really nice car though!

It's 310/335 just to be accurate, and I am going from what the guy posted up about the car, he is a stand up guy and would not just make up #'s. Below I copy'd and pasted exactly from the thread from SVTPerformance.com

"I don't have any dyno #'s to reflect the changes I've done to the new motor, but when I first put the motor in year before last, it did 310 rwhp/ 335 rwtq. That was before I did some headwork, running an Edlebrock intake instead of the TF, and a crappy C&L MAF that wouldn't let us really dial anything in, plus some other small differences like the electric fan and stuff. I want to get it dyno'd again, if I have it much longer I will."
