by waffles u mean the rim design right? I agree they don't look the best but tri-bars are worse...i'd rather have the 16's on my car than look at those hideous things.

umm, maybe you're right, but this car and pic look awesome with them i think... and usually i would agree that waffles look like crap... maybe its just the white car, or being real clean i dunno...

While yes you do have a little problem with lens flare, the bigger problem is overexposure. The highlights are blown out and the detail contained therein in lost entirely. When you have such dramatic differences between light and dark, the camera's metering system isn't accurate enough to accurately expose both dark and light. A spot metering function is a MUCH better idea to use for these type of shots because it allows to to meter for what's important.
As for cameras, I do like the Rebels, but for a new DSLR user/buyer, I also HIGHLY recommend the new Sony Alpha (A100). The colors are brilliant, and the image stabilization is simply un believeable. I've taken shots at 1/15th shutter speed without blur, in-cred-ible.

haha yeah the pics are overexposed, I was just messin with the settings. Night shots are freakin hard. I don't know if I'll ever take them right.
