I had autolite 24 in my E7's and they won't go into the GT40's.. It seems the part right above the threads is too fat. is there another plug i should use (Kenne bell rec the autolites)
Thats just what i found out at my local parts store, but i wanted 1 range colder for the blower, which would be a Autolite 2543 and i was told they no longer make them. I could get Champions, but Kenne bell doesn't rec them at all... Hmm...
My GT-40Y use ASWF-32C, which is an extended tip spark plug, one rangle hotter than stock.....When I had the heads off the car, i tried playing around with old plugs from my E7s and the tip does not extend far enough into the cc, its shrouded in by the thread by like 3 mm. not a good thing. Do yourself a favor and get correct plugs, they are only like $1.49 a pop at Pepboys.
