im about to put a cam,4 barrel and headers on my 78 pickup and i was wondering if a set of E7's off a mustang would make it breath a little better and really if they will even work...any other ideas would be appriciated also..thanks
sure they'll work. I'm not as familar with the 78 heads, but I'm 99% sure the e7's would be a good improvement. I'd try searching say some of the classic mustang boards too, as I'm sure there has been a lot of discussion on this.
i could be wrong, but i think a 78 is still a flat topped engine, so you gotta make sure the heads are going to work, i think you'll have to get differnt push rods, just shooting is the dark,
