OMG O/R Magnaflow X + Catback == Horny

So anyways, I put my Magnaflow Offroad X pipe and Magnaflow Catback on this weekend. At first I wsn't too impressed with the sound. It kind of sounded like a really big rice mobile with a giant fart can.. The sound was a constant "BWWAAHHHHHH" sound. It wasn't defined at all..

I drove it home, then drove around the city for awhile. In all I would say I put about 1000km on it (That's 600 Miles for you yanks). I swear every day it sounds hornier and hornier!! It's loosing the constant drone ("BWAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH") and it's getting more of a "THWAP THWAP THWAP THWAP THWAP THWAP" to it. I can hear the distinct exhaust pulses now.


So, to all who get the magnaflow system and don't like it off the start, give it a couple of days.. It'll sound much better!!

get some stang 2 comp cams. That will really open up your exhaust system.

Someday I will. I want to keep my warranty though, so internal mods are out of the questions..

My engine has a driver-side head tick and they dealer always claims they can't hear it. So, I'll drive it until she blows I guess...

Speaking of which.. Does anyone know the end result of the "Defective Cylinder Heads" TSB if not taken care of? Does it wreck the cam or what?
