i think you are going a little to far with that statement, hahaha. 5.5M is a little steep though!

The price is one thing, but how do you put a price on the very first of something ever made? Something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay. That car is literally a piece of American history...i say it's nearly priceless.

Worth the 5.5m, assuming it is 5F08F100001. I didn't see a VIN there, so who knows. Numbers 6, 7, 8 were also 260ci Wimbeldon white convertibles.

I love mustangs!! but that isn't worth 5.5 million dollars! and if i had that kind of money why would i spend 5.5 million on a mustang ? when i could by an Enzo Ferrari and still have money left over to by other things? SORRY NOT WORTH IT ! not in my opinion! James

I like how it says "a must have for every collector" like every one who collects cars can easily shell out 5.5M lol.

Send it to Barrett-Jackson and watch it get at least 4 million. People out there will pay $2 million for a Hemi Cuda convertible. There is only one Mustang #1.

put it this way, as long as the condition stays somewhat the same , the value is going to go up practically every year. Its a TRUE rare car, not by limited production, but the fact thats its "the first". Some would say its priceless, so I guess in that sense, the price is right, someone will buy it. This isnt exactly a weekend cruiser, its going to live in a bubble all its life.

Barrett Jackson is their best bet. That being said I would buy 2.5 71 hemi cuda verts long before I would buy this.
