One fog light dimmer then the other, plus it burns out faster...any idea why?

I have a 94 vert gt, and my driver-side fog lamp seems to be incredibly dimmer then my other fog lamp. Not only that but it burns out much faster. My guess is that it's badly grounded maybe? Anyone agree? If you know what it is, can you post a solution too please. I'm really bad with electrical problems and I'm not sure how the schematics works. Will I have to rewire something? Any tips, pics, web-links, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

95 hardtop here, and I have the same problem. It's water in the light in my case, so the dimmer light is because of the rusty condensation inside the housing itself. Could be a possibility that you're experiencing the same thing?

you could have a voltage drop in the circuit, check all the wiring in the fog light system and look for stuff like corrosion, a frayed wire, which would also cause more resistance, and check the ground wire too.

Most definitely water in the housing. Pull the fogs, spray some cleaner in there, something to break through the rust and crap, the shake it around for about 5 minutes. Then blow it all out with compressed air.

Sound like a bad ground to me. Clean the ground wire and mounting surface.

And to check the ground, set the meter to Ohms.
