one messed up clutch pedal...........no adjustment

Hey guys
I an in the process of replacing my clutch, and various other things
anyways.......when I disconnected the clutch cable at the pedal, there was no adjusting Quad........the pedal just has small rod, and a clip holding the cable to it about 1" above the pivoting rod the clutch mounts too..........any suggestions. I want this clutch cable to be adjusted properly, but I can't figure it out

Do you have a stock quadrant?

The only rods down there are the 'rods' that the quadrant pivots on. WIthout having something crescent shaped, the cable does not have a long enough path to work properly.

A pic of whatever this monstrosity is would be cool.
