One of the few, the proud, a running turbomustang

looks like you better justify that rollcage! with methanol injection and cam2, that beast should put some hurt on the ricers at the track. How does it launch on the street? how much boost is cranked in now? I say leave it as is and keep it looking like a beater 'twang, so the ls1s and big block chebbys would wonder whats wrong with their cars when they lose to a field car (which IMO is a pro not a con) :D

Thanx dude. I love that it's ugly. I just put in a 13psi spring right now. The brake is fun, but the power is almost worthless on the street even with the et streets. trying to get it down to the dyno so I can get a decent baseline fuel curve and take it to the track sat. 7psi was hard to tune on the street as it was. Now it's just stupid.

what kind of block do you have???Becasue you know whatever you have, im gonna want more:nice:

Is there a way to adjust the boost inside the car like the ricers, to go from "whoop ass" to "wtf was that"

I have an A4 block.:D Got 'er cheap. Hell my turbo cost more than the block.
You can get a boost controller which is nice. It will make the car spool a little faster. But since your carbed, you can't just change boost without making changes to the carb. Not sure yet how much the fuel curve needs to change. I will hopefully know soon. I added the extra 6psi, but no jet added yet.

I see, then just set mine for the "holy ****" boost setting.:nice:
