One Audiobahn 1200Q in 2 ohm in a custom 1.25 ft sealed box...

I think part of the problem was that the sub was too close to the covertible top when it went down, so I am going to make a custom fiberglass box where the spare tire is, and hopefully (knock on wood) this wont happen again.

I would feel for you if it were actually the bass that broke the glass. Figure out what actually hit the window before you break another. It wasn't the pressure of the sound waves.

I dont think it was the sound pressure, I think it was the vibration being too close to the window itself cause it happened when the top was down...

Thanks, I bought the new one already. A top and interior shop near my house offered me the window at 180 and 200 for installation. So the damage is done and over with...

Good price on the replacement. I remember taking my sister around getting quotes on her Miata, and we were quoted anywhere from 850-1200!!!

I have a $1000 dollar deductible...only cause it makes my insurance a lot lower, so the window was out of pocket....
