the tc is short on boost, so I pop the hood and find something I haddent noticed before, a green wire coming out of the plug that goes in to the boost contoler that is not conected to any thing? It looks like some one added the wire. I have no idea wht to do with it. please help!!! Ill post pics soon.

Oh and should I mess with this or just get a manual boost controler?

The boost control solenoids I've seen only have two wires. Do the TCs have a fuel selector switch? If so, thats what the solenoid is for; to not only regulate the boost in relation to rpm, but also lower it to 10psi for regular gas. I believe the boost solenoid has to close in order to increase boost to 15 psi. If there is no power to it, I think it just stays open.

Yep TC's have a fuel selector switch...
