You may want to put some in. I don't know exactly what it does but i have heard that it is important.

i would recommend it70lightning said:You could get on auburn unit, also do not forget your friction modifier.
HISSIN50 said:for the sake of semantics, why dont we call what some people on this thread are calling a "true posi" (which i have ALWAYS known to be a limited slip diff, BTW) a LOCKER. it seems like that is what people on this thread mean about having the axles rotate at the same rate at all times. people on here do drive lockers on the street - just dont plan on tight U-turns or sweet parking lot maneuvers.
the friction modifier actually helps the clutches slip a little. if one does not use it, the clutches can chatter in turns. some autocrossers omit the modifier (they could care less about noise), but with no modifier (and all else being equal), it is like rebuilding the TL tighter.

70lightning said:You can still Drive "TRUE POSI" on the street, unless you are refering to the GM method of welding spider gears in which case I wouldn't drive it any where.
Speeds8erM-1 said:Thats called a spool and it can still be driven on the street, slowly around turns, it sucks but it can be done.
Speeds8erM-1 said:Im just referring to the guy talking about "true posi" lol. It's not "streetable" but I have seen it done. Doing it and calling you car a REAL street car is bull***** though!
