Hi all,
I have had my 04 Gt coupe (with auto trans) for 2 weeks now.
I have a limited understanding of t-loks and my rear end. On the way home the day I bought it, it was raining and the car was fishtailing with both tires spinning (even with trac control on). Anyway, the other night I attempted to spin the tires on dry pavement in a straight line and only the right one spun. I know that this would mean clutches in the carrier, but the car has only 29k on it and was owned by an adult female and was BONE stock so I don't see that it would have been beat on.
My questions therefore are
1-under norman driving is my "full power/torque" being transfered to the wheels?
2- is it possible depending on conditions to have one vs. both spinning?
3-is there anything I can do to get them both going? Searching here has given me 2 possibilities, turn the wheel a bit instead of a straingt line or back up a little first drop it into D and mash the gas..
Any help would be appreciated since I am really hoping I do not need to take care of this before I can get an exhaust (which i am still deciding on)
THANKS
