Your problem is definetally because with the mach there are two additional amps in the rear. I forget what I did to fix it after I trashed the stock amps though.
I'm pretty sure I split the tweeter wiring and used a crossover to filter the frequencies.

Which grey connector has the blue/white? I tried the blue/red on my grey connector, as well as the blue/white on the black connector... neither worked. I'm going mad

Ok, we know WHERE the problem is now... My stock head unit only plays the tweeters as well, so apparently some of the stock wiring is missing/fried/cut somewhere....

Suggestions on what to check... or do I need to take it to a professional who knows what they're doing..

did you disconnect the front amp?the gray connector i'm talking about is on the bottom, left on your picture.try restoring everything to when you started.rear amps will not work without front amp connected.front amp controls 2 front tweets and 2 rear tweets, rears control the 2 lower door and the 2 subs in rear speaker tray.the black connector on the bottom right of pic,i dont know what that is,there should be a 8 port square connector.that is where the speaker outputs from headunit connect to.all speaker lines run through the front amp.

I reconnected it before trying, still nothing.

The blue and white wires you see on the grey connector are labeled as "power antenna" and they don't lead to anything.

I hightlighted the power antenna blue wires:

It worked great, then the car sat with no bat for 6 months, and the radio out... When I put it all back together, only the tweeters worked. Should I just run new speaker wires? If so, what do I need to do about the rear amps?

No.,.. Which is why I can't figure it out. The only difference between before and after is, I never re installed the CD player. ..

Those two grey wires are the wires that originally plugged into the stock head unit.

alright man, you got way too many wires in there, heres what i did,
take out that entire harness and ditch the mach. if you begin to remove the wire harness you will find another set of the gray and black plugs. because you got them plugged into the mach 460's harness.
my stereo sounds 100x better then the mach systems, with just running all speakers off the headunits power. :SNSign:
