will i loose power if i ran open headers? what could i do to my stock setup to get more noise. i have dual pipes fomr the manifold back to tube styl mufflers and out

If you run open headers you have to tune the car for it. It is too loud to drive on the street though, believe me i love the sound of open headers it was awesome but if you wanna keep your hearing get louder mufflers for a start.

If you have manifolds you can't run them open you will burn your valves and suck air into your engine.

why not buy some long tubes for about $150? and then run turn downs at your axle

Maybe if it were 0 outside. The heated manifold will preheat the air B4 it gets to the valves.

ouch good thing you all told me that that would have been bad news...so on headers, long tube is the way to go? what do you sugest for about 150 buxish. should i keep the tube stlye mufflers?
