havent been, matter of fact i havent even had this car to the track. we'll have to hit it up one night this spring or summer. school and work are kickin my ass at the moment

I have a 315/35/17 sumihomo on it now and it wouldnt hook..

Don't waste your tire doing a burn out with street tires. Just spin them to get all the dirt and stones free, and drive around the water box.

You mentioned above that you could get a decent launch but when you shifted into second it would go sideways. Until you get a sticky set of tires, you will have to feather second gear like you do leaving the line.

And drop the pressure to ~20-25 psi on the Sumitomos for the 1/4 mile. It'll help a lot. Just fill them back up again before you drive home.

Here would be a good suggestiona and it will hook plenty for you at the track, order some 275/50/15 MT ET Drag Radials and go with some Summit Star wheels or whatever pattern you like. Dont order the steel wheels, they are very very heavy and will not do any justice Where do you normally race at?

315/35/17 Sumitomo lol I didnt do TOO big of a burnout. I didnt let any air out either so they had about 32 pounds in them

I think your sumitomos are holding you back lol. Mine are the worst set of tires traction wise that ive ever owned
