This car is completely stock, with about 160k miles on it. I've been hearing bearing noise, and noticed the rear left axle seal was also seeping, so decided to replace the wheel bearings at all 4 corners.
In anticipation of the axle shafts being grooved, I bought National RP-5707 off-set repair bearings for the rear. but now that I have the shafts out of the car, I'm not so sure I need them.
The are where the bearings ride are smooth, so should I use standard bearings instead?
