Hey all, its been a while since my last post. Im in the market for heads and was wondering about the GT40z heads. Has anyone used them or know how they would stack up compared to say trick-flows or afr's? Thanks for your time!

Ford Racing Performance Parts [M-6049-Z304A*]

They are essentially Ford's top of the line heads for small block engines

I guess it is like most things

If something can be gotten for a better price

Well ... You gotta ask 2 questions

1) Will there be a compromise
2) If so ... How much of a compromise

My gut tells me since they are new
You might have a tough time finding any ... unbiased data ... on em

To me ... that would mean you would be dealing with an unknown

Say they could be gotten for 2/3 of the price of known heads such as TFS,
AFR, Edel

I'd not take that chance
I'd just save a bit longer for a known head that makes good power

Just my thoughts
