I got the Performance Products intake here's what I noticed; loss of torque, but increase in horsepower, the intake gets hotter, but meh. That intake COULD cause some idle issues, but I got Bama to tune for it, made a world of difference after. It actually made a more horse power at the top end, seems as if it smoothed out the horsepower curve, but diminished and or shortened the torque curve.
I didn't really buy it for the gains but more for never wanting to replace the damned thing again and or for the life of the car.
I did look at the Track Heat by Trick Flow, 700 bucks sheesh. Required some modifications egr, and alternator displacement. Only if I was in the market for a centri-blower. Thank your lucky stars you didn't buy that Dorman garbage intake. I still want to kick some ass for what the intake put me through.
