Who here runs the Mac longtubes (or 3/4 tubes lol)? What are your opinions on their quality? And anyone have any info on power gains?

Does anyone have pictures of them installed? Or better yet, with the Brenspeed X pipe? The ONLY picture I can find is the same stock photo that everyone uses.

mac for the older body styles, was known for bad fitment. i think their quality has gone up, but i haven't dealt with any of their products since the underdrive pullies i bought for my old car. those, fit like crap, and rusted within the 6 months or so they were on there.

Odd, that's like the opposite of what I've heard.

Any other input?

What I've heard is that the fitment is pretty nice with these headers and they sound AWESOME with a prochamber. Make sure you get them ceramic coated so they last.

In the past they have sold cheaper headers and you get what you pay for. But we are talking a lot less quality they have now.

I don't have any hands on experience with them though so all I can tell you is from what I've read. There is a video around on the internet of a S197 GT with a procharger F1R and 1" 5/8 mac long tubes and it runs awesome. Guy said they fit well.

For the money these and OBX longtubes are the best in my opinion. Of coarse I'm not telling you anything you haven't heard on MM.
