MSD, Taylor, Live Wire are all good brands. Get either Motorsport or Autolite plugs.

1105 hit the nail on the head.

Also, I've found that platinum plugs are for the birds and for those who enjoy piss'n money away.

It was a noticable difference when I changed out the tired old FMS wires and put on the Taylor Thundervolt 50 wires. They averaged less than 50 ohms/ft

The new motor is getting Crane FireWires. They advertise these at 25 ohms/ft

If I recall, FMS wires were around 7-800 ohms/ft

LiveWires are around 300 ohms/ft

Taylor 409 are advertised 300 ohms/ft

stock wires were well over 1000 ohms/ft
