I am trying to save money. My question is would i see any considerable gains going from a 302 to a 306?

My current set up:

88 Hatch back
302 stock bottom end
Edelbrock Performer RPM II
TFS T/W 185 cnc

In the long run i am going to go with a Dart short block from Rick.

Thank you, thats exactly what i thought. I got to thinking since its only temporary, and i'm going to be going with a 331 dart block later...keeping the 302 would help me save alot of money for the Dart short block.

Not worth the time or money. Put it towards your Dart build up.

Not much gain unless your cylinder walls were fugged and your not getting compression, otherwise pointless. It is only to clean up the cylinder walls in most cases.

+1 to No and save your money because you will regret it if you always have bigger plans like a 331
