Im debating to get an axle back or an x-pipe. Idk what would sound better. Can i have someone's opionion on how either would sound on my 2011 gt mustang?
You will spend forever on YouTube listening to different exhaust sounds. I did it and it drove me crazy because I couldn't make up my mind. Just like the guy said above it's not very accurate. Everything sounds different in person. If it were me I would get an axle back first. I wouldn't go x-pipe with stock mufflers. Check out the pypes "pype bomb" for an awesome axle back. Makes the car sound really mean without taking the cats off. Then if you want it louder or to have a different tone go with the x-pipe.
Yeah it's hard to find out what mufflers to get. I suggest getting an axle back first, do you have any Mustang clubs in your area? If you do ask around there and see if you can go meet up with some and hear some cars in person. Just take your time and look around, do that and you'll end up with what you really like.
When I bought my 08 I bought mufflers the same month because I heard them on youtube, well they didn't sound as cool in person and now I wish I would have gone with something else. But thats half the fun I guess. Good luck
