Opinions Wanted - Casting Or A Crack In Block (pic)

Machine shop showed me this after magnafluxing and they are not 100% sure if this is a casting flaw or a crack. Seems like casting to me because it is raised. What do you think?

Thanks for you input dave. Talked to Chris Neighbors whose opinion I value greatly and he said it seemed like casting to him too. All opinions are welcome. I am no expert..just learning everyday.

a crack would draw the metal particles into it. I do not see that in the picture

I see a small line that is raised like you said. Knock it down with a burr and move on. Or at least that is what I would do.
