I have yet to see a engine and it's bay be like this. if anyone has something simular send pics. and what do you think

I think all the stuck on mustang emblems would look really stupid. Not a fan of the MT valve covers, chrome oil pan, huge HEI distributors, or bright coated holley carbs either.

It my opinion, you asked for it.

im kinda with 302 coupe, i like basic but thats my own opinion...do they still make M/T valve covers? and the only kind of oil pan that intrests me are those that function the best (and maybe that finned Cobra one that shelby put), I'm not a fan of emblems stuck to the engine, and I like the natural bronze muscle look of holleys. But then again I said thats my personal preference, do what you think you'll like, its your car, have it make you happy

They are'nt that big...

I agree about the emblems it would make all that shiny polish and chrome look cheap. Otherwise I think the black and bright-metal will look good.

Yeah, the color combo's should look good. Really good. Not sure about a shiney carb. Don't like M/T. Might look good the way you did them. Post a pic.

As a matter of fact, mock up as much as you can and post pics. That way the items that do look good will get you positive feedback. Not sure on emblems, would have to see them. IMHO of course.

thanks for response will try and get pic of valve cover. I wanted to be somewhat old school and got the M/T for 10 bucks at swap meet already blasted with raised oil breather tube and no baffles to clear rollers. So gave it a shot and I think a lot of you guys will be surprised how good they can look. Hei is just cleaner no coil to mess with less wires etc. It is a little bigger not that much though. Oil pan was summit special 38 bucks already have windage tray so really no need for a baffled pan. I know it's foo foo to some folks but like the statement above it's my car I like to be different and I don't see anyone posting any pics of engine done this way. Also has custom interior/gauges. It will have AOD from Jasper and 380 gears in my 9 inch. thinking of running 17/8 crager ss wheels. May also add the fiberglass parts later to make it look like cal special but with a 67 gt500 hood. also thinking of pearl black stripes for the ghost effects. This is rice but have a buddy that does vinal and he is trying to get me to put on carbon fiber vinyl stripes. not to sure on that. going to post pics of the covers with and without logo to get opions should be up by tomorrow evening. Thanks again

I bought it on e-crazy. http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZrestamodQQssPageNameZFAVQ3aFQ3aSLLR

This guy makes them. He built it for an Eleanor he is doing with some crazy x-code 427 dual quad intake with spiderweb runners. Something CS gave him. We should see it on the show Mustang Monthly is doing with him. I guess he is right across the complex from Boyd Coddington. The hood is a 4" stretch of the normal 67 shelby hood scoop.

You may have to call the guy, he doesn't put that many of this particular hood up for sale. If he does, the picture he uses may look familiar. I am not associated with Restomod in any way shape or form.
