Today i was driving and the temp ouside was about 95 degrees. Ran fine for about 2 hours and stoped at a gas station. Started the car and it started up and then just wanted to die. IF i let it idle it would barely idle fine, if i steped on the gas it would die. I checked under the hood and it felt pretty hot but the temp gauge was at normal. I waited for 15 minutes till it cooled down and it started up fine like if no problem was there. The check engine light was not on but that dosnt mean anything. I could still have some codes, When i go to work tomarow i scan it with a scann tool. I noticed my air filter was getting dusty and it was also hot. I dont know if my mass air meter is dirty, could be iac, act sensors. This happend to me last week and i changed the distrubitor modual last week, drove fine till today. I dont think the modual could be bad again. I dont know any suggestions? Thanks.

I always start with a basi tune up, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, pcv, then if I still have a problem I go to my tuner and he fixes it with a dyno tune. Anyways, I have seen fuel pumps cut off when it is really hot, or when the pump it self gets hot. The dist module was a good start but those usually just kill the car period. They are not run sometimes not run sometimes. Good luck...

i was thinking about the fuel pump also, i think it has one of those car quest crappers in it that only last like 3 years. anybody make a good performance fuel pump? anybody know the stock flow rate to a hi-po fuel rate pump and what would be a good one to run?? might as well pick a good one since ill replace it anyway.
