My battery is about to kick the can, and I wanted to know if you think the optima batteries are worth the money or should I stick with an OEM battery? Keep in mind I want to install underdrive pullies. I don't know if that will make a differnce or not. Thanks

I got mine in the spring. NO problems yet, and it looks good with the Laser red car.

I got the middle model, but I think the entry one is fine. I cant say great just yet, b/c it's too early to have had a problem. When I researched this before getting mine, the replies were really favorable. The middle model requires a longer terminal to fuse box cable, since it is slightly taller...The entry one fits right in.

With underdrives, it never hurts to have more battery and more alternator, especially if youre running a car alarm +/- stereo system +/- elec fuel pump.

Good Luck

Are the optima batteries any heavier than the OEM batteries?
