What are the choices in rear brakes? I have a 9" rear, 31-spline axles, large bearing Torino ends. I looked on the SSBC site and found 10.5" rotor kits. Then, found a 11.125" rotor kit on Master Power. I have 15x8" 2-piece wheel with 4" back-space out back.

I liked the MP brakes, but not the SSBC kits. Does Wilwood and Baer have anything??

wilwood has a 12.19 kit with the internal drum style parking brake. It has an aluminum 4 piston caliper.

Those look sweet, but I had SSBC 11.25" rotor kit w/1-piston alum caliper and they were hitting the ridge of the rim. i'll need to call Wilwood tech...

Ya know, you don't really need big brakes on the rear. The rears only account for 20-30% of your braking force... so excluding visual impact, having big rear brakes isn't all that usefull.
(more hastle than it's worth...)

So as long as they're good enough to hold the car on a hill, that's about all you need. You're far better off putting the cash elsewhere.

I agree, you don't need big rear brakes. I have a Versailles rear end and am using the factory rear brakes from the Lincoln.
