So I took everyone's advice and my gut feeling and ordered some HPM Megabite Jr. Lowers and the Double Adjustable Uppers along with poly upper axel bushings. They guy said the lowers would be sent out today, but the uppers were on back order, so it will be next week probally when they come in. I could have got regular uppers sent today too, but I have heard adjustables are the way to go, is this right?

I am going to get the tq boxes welded before I do any launches. So what differences should these mods make? I am hoping for a difference, I really only ordered them because my stock 14 year old stockers are worn slap out. Should I remove my quads when I put these on?

Anyone with experience with this brand or other kinds of drag race control arms (southsides?) and/or uppers?

So what kind of 60's should I see??? I'm getting the times now with stock suspension with MM full length subs, swaybar delete, Nitto 275/40R17 DR's, and KYB's. I know .1 off the 60 is like .2 off the rest of the track.

I hear nothing but good from them... I'll probably be buying a pair of lowers myself and FRP uppers.... Good luck!

It's either them, or Maximum Motorsports...

I really like my Megabite JRs. I haven't had them on the track, so I cannot say how they will effect your 60ft. I can say that I can feel the tires digging into the pavement taking off and on upshifts. Yes, you can remove your dampners with them.

I may make the switch to the MM LCAs because they are designed to eliminate suspension bind during hard cornering. I am also considering the Steedas for the same reasons.

Thanks for the info, but now I can't wait. Peeling out was cool when I first got the car, but now I hate it. Nitto's really helped, but now I just want more. Maximum Motorsprots is the way to go if you have the money and want to do some cornering, but I'm just going for the straights.

The Megabites are pretty much the gold standard. Adjustable uppers are ok. Once you get them set up they're no problem. Getting them set up is a pain....especially if you have tail pipes. For a street car they're overkill....but not bad. Good, very good.

I think I might go the HPM route as well with a Panhard bar, subframes, driveshaft safety loop to really take the corners and dig into the pavement. It seems like there are a lot of options like jr.'s, fully adj., non-adj.,sr.'s, and so on. I just really want something great for the street and an occassional trip to the dragstrip 1-2x's a month. Let me know how everything works out. I might be ordering within the next 2 weeks, unless I decide to get some AFR heads and a cam.
