NGK TR-6's. Do NOT go into boost until it has been tuned. Better to wait for boost made safe then to wait for shortblock being rebuilt.....

I ordered kit from dallas mustang , Ive been dealing with them , they seem to know their stuff pretty good , I ordered the NGK 7060 / TR5 and NGK 4177 / TR6 for it , I am going to try the stock heat range first TR5s , and if it pings at all I will switch it out to the colder ones , I have a good ear for detonation so I am not going to worry about the tune , Mike at dallas mustang said as long as I stick with the stock mass air which is already a 85 MM on the 02 GT and havent changed the plenum or any thing much except for the long tubes I have he said the tune they (Vortech/ superchips) do will be good enough to try it . He said if I experienced the least detonation or pinging then to take it straight to get it dyno tuned but thats a 3 hour drive and I must drive it to get it dyno tuned because nobody in my area does that kind of work . I am getting it dyno tuned eventually but I hope that the tune they do is pretty close . Atleast so I can drive it 3 hours to get it on the dyno .

Thanks that comes in handy, i ordered like 4 different kinds of plugs and got them in yesterday to look at them , im going to go with the stock heat range NGKs TR55s/3951 , the TR55-1s were supposed the be the equivalent to the 764 autolite but they are alot hotter in heat range . So I am going to use the TR55s since thats what NGKs website says is stock . But if I have any doubts about how its running I will stick the TR6s in .

Anymore tips ?? besides dyno tuning

How much was the kit? I was looking at the tuner kits and were wondering if they were worth it ($2,500).
