Im looking at gettin a trickflow cam. But i have a question, which cam is the stage one cam?
TFS-51402000 Good idle, strong midrange power. Aftermarket intake, heads, and headers recommended. Requires modified mass airflow. Compression ratio: 9:1 to 10.5:1. this one says it needs intake, heads, and headers and modifieid mass air, i have speed density and a cobra intake

TFS-51402001 Fair idle, good midrange power. 2,500 to 3,000 rpm stall converter or five-speed recommended. Compression ratio: 9.5:1 to 11:1.
this one seems like the best choice.....

TFS-51402002 Rough idle, strong top-end power. 3,000 to 3,500 rpm stall converter with 3.90 to 4.11 gears recommended. Compression ratio: 10:1 to 11.5:1. this one is way to radical

what do you guys think? or should i go with a totally different cam?

Probably need a different cam since you're SD. Doesn't Crane make a few SD cams? I believe the 1st came is the Stage 1. Has like .499I and .510E I don't remember the rest

If your heads are stock I would suggest something more mild than any of those or leaving the stock cam in there and doing other mods. Stock valve springs float too easily and don't like .500 lift and up. Also the stock heads don't flow too well, and your going to move the powerband up where the engine can't breathe that well.
