Original / Repro Hood Differences

Is it possible to tell a repro 65 hood from an original?
I want to sell my stock hood as I've recently bought a replacement with Shelby scoop.
If its original it should command a higher resale price than a repro, so how can I tell the difference?

If its original there is a Ford part number on it somewhere.

The only part number I could find was 11 12C3 stamped on the underside of the hood, drivers side corner, rear near where the hood meets the cowl.
Does anyone know if this is a Ford part number or a repro company? Thanks.

There are not part #'s "stamped" on the hood in 65/66.

The codes that you have are manufacturer's codes for when they were produced and most likely are original ford parts.
