I was checking this out, and noticed the rear end, doesnt that look like a 6cyl rear to you guys? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2464342343&category=6236

Anyways the VIN says it has C code in it. what do you think?

Yup, it's a 6 cyl rear end. They were integrated carrier types like the newer 8.8 rears.

Its strange that he would give a C code VIN, but keep the 6 rearend.

You're right too, I don't remember the changover year, but either 67-68 they went to the same rear end for all, the 65/66 definitely had that type for 6 cyl though.

Sure looks like a piece-together. The grille is 65 and so is the instrument panel. The gas cap, side chrome, hood trim, seats, and door panels are all 66. Steering wheel is aftermarket. Wheel covers are 65, but that doesn't mean anything.

I would avoid it... who knows what is cobbled together underneath?!?
