The Eye DID NOT pass through Melbourne, but the Northern wall did, which is worse.

I had one 10-ft palm that tip that had tipped with Frances and I since reinforced, and some palm branches fall of of trees...THAT's it!

This one "felt" just like Frances, but just didnt sit there "hanging out" as long, so it minimized power outages and downed trees.

yeah joe, we had power too, i looked from my garage last night around 11 - 12, the sky lit blue at times because of the transformers blowing up, and the powerlines touching each other

I gots lots of neighbors who may be interested in selling you their panels after this season. You would have to get the measurements of your windows, so we could see if you could use them.

I lost power up here in Ormond. I live in an old neighborhood, and we lost power for both hurricanes for 6 days. I'm sure it will be the same this time.

Man, I am glad I live up north! I am sure that you will be saying you are glad you live down south when the winter comes though... While you are out driving your stang in 70* weather I will be driving my ford thunderbird through a foot of snow.
