I know it's been out for a while but I just saw it and man was I in shock. I didn't know who I was voting for before that movie but now I do. I just wanted to make a thread to see what you all thought of it.

Yea, i know people for Bush will argue that those things aren't all true and it had a "hollywood" twist to it...
But if there is anyone here who is voting for bush, why are you voting for him? I hate the fact of his "they have weapons of mass destruction" and we find none. How him and his family have extremely close relations with the Bin Laden's while one of them is supposed to be one of our worst terrorist.
I just cant help from wondering if Bush's dad was never President, would Bush still have gone to war? Too many personal problems in my opinion for him to lead our Nation
And with all the fighting that Iraq is still putting our soldiers through, i seriously doubt Sadaam was in a hole hiding....he has a WHOLE country willing to die for him...and he hides in a hole? But ofcourse Bush and the Gov. brings in a camera and shows Sadaam looking crazy and clueless. That was a move to make it seem like we are winning since there are no weapons to be found and to get the people of America do think that Bush is really putting fear into Sadaam.
I could go on and on....but im only 19 and dont know much about the other side. Just wondering the view from those Bush supporters....

Dont get me wrong, I am very involved in politics, I love them. But this is not the place for it. This is a place for us to all get along and talk about our cars. If you want to talk politics there is a place in SN called the copacabana, where they will be more than happy to talk politics down there. By the way, Im not bashing you or anything for bringing up f911, I am a democrat, but I dont feel this forum is a place for politics

Being in the military, the choice of president has a profound affect on my life. Paul, with all due respect that is the most one-sided asinine thread I've ever read. Granted, car forums tend to be very right-wing, but even so... the fact that people believe that bunk scares me more than who is sitting in the white house at the moment. Ultimately it's the people that will bring down this country, and from what I see & hear every day we're perilously close to the end.

it is one sided b/c nobody wants to argue against the military folk.

Did anyone else notice how Jaidedeye in that thread talked about the military being better and more supplied than before when just last week there was a documentary/report on how a one military officer in one instance wrote a letter saying that they were undersupplied and that one letter in one situation meant that Bush underfunds and undersupplies the military, but here Jaidedeye, a real military man, speaks opposite?
anyways, i don't think this thread or any political thread should be in this forum, it just makes enemies and people mad at eachother.

You have no idea how close to the end we were before we went to Iraq. Sadaam was going to switch from the dollar to the euro to sell his oil.

I hate voting and I absolutely HATE policitics, politicians, etc.
Why am I voting for George Bush? Well, I don't exactly know...
My parents like him.....?
Since I'm a college student, my parents pay for everything (except beer, clothing, drag racing, etc.), so I vote for the person who would be best fit for them. They want GW, so that's who I'll vote for. Oh, and yes, my parents are bad people. 
The only reason I vote is because my grandparents and many others parents/grandparents fought for our freedom to do so. I pay respect to them by placing my say-so in the election.
What I don't understand is how some people can view George Bush as wrong and John Kerry as right. It's both unfair, it's just seen from different sides of the fence. I don't like hypocrisy.

Im voting for Kerry and heres why..
I have watched all 4 debates (VP included) and im 20 years old.
Kerry got bush on the first one, the rest were about even.
Note I work full time making a woping 25K a year
*But I also have my own small buisness that i run with a partner.
1. Medical
I lost my medical coverage last xmas and burned my esophagus a few weeks ago, no pain killers and week of hell ($1600 Bill)
2. Army
My buddy Joe is in the air force he's 20 was sent over to Iraq a few months ago and he said he has done nothing there and he command has no plans for them to do anything. At least kerry has a plan which he stated clearly more that once in these debates. Bush's response was "stay the corse". Yeah that's reassuring. BTW he's married to my friend Kerry who thinks hes going to be back in 6 months (march i belive) too bad thats never going to happen under bush.
3. Bush's intrest's
The ties with bushes administration with the no bid contract for Channe's old company is just redickulous. Military laws state that you must have a bid and or have competion to make sure the price is fair. Which is under review i hear by our own millitary. Thats just one of hes ties, not that the binladens matter anymore, you know being the worst terrorist and all, good to know bush is close with his whole family.
4. Gay Marrage - Not that i am...
My uncle is gay and his partner steve have been together before i was born. Do i think they should get married my answer NO. My reasoning make anoughter term for "marriage" it could be "XYZ" doesnt matter and give gay couples the same rights as married people. My uncles partner steve got into a car accident and was in the hospital and he did not have visitaion rights because "he's not family" thats just BS.
5. Abortion / Steam cell research anyone?
Is abortion good - no
Is it bad - no
When a babys coming out after 9 months kill it before the head is out? - no put it up for adoption
I belive 3 months and first trimester should be the longest you should go to have an abortion (or once the heart is beating)
Abortion banned alltogether is rediculos... Think of you mother, sister, or girl friend.. they get raped O well now you can't have an abortion so your going to have to look at a child that reminds you of you most horrific experiance. Thats not fair
Im up for curing some of the world worst desieses faster
6. Media and the FCC
Im sure everyone heard about the fine's and firing for whats decent or indecent. And F that damn boob damn her...
If fart jokes and chicks making out with eachother is bad.
Watching fearfactor and people eating worms and magots and puking on cable tv is good?

watch the debates its as clear as day, as for personal attacks that what politics is all about, they are always going to do this. Bush attacked kerry's record till no end i wouldnt even fight on this topic its too common in every election for any politican.

I supported bush after 9/11 up untill i found out the whole reason (THE IMIDATE THREAT OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS BY SADAM) WAS 100% TOTALY FALSE. So i was lied to by our president and now alot of people are suffering.
Primary target: Osama (It's ok we let him go he's a good guy)
Bush's target: Daddy's arch enemie Sadam
P/S: He is so uninteligent it makes me sick, and don't mind the spelling error's I went through public edg-ima-cation!
