I have reasons for voting for Bush but my main reason is my brother who is a Captain in the Army and is in Iraq right now. He likes Bush, and he has told me that conditions over there are better becuase of the President. From what i have heard Kerry has voted against supplying our troops and i don't like the idea of my brother not having what he needs while he is over there. :flag:

I can understand that.

I didn't understand why in this post and in that thread killer posted why people kept saying that John Kerry has not explained his plan...obviously he doesn't have to go into great detail but he has explained some of it...atleast in the debate i sat down and watched. If he didn't, he wouldbe hurting himself. But like others agree, he has.

I didn't think the car crowd would be so Bush....oh well.

If Kerry is the answer...

Then it must have been a stupid question.

The war in Iraq is necessary. Why you ask? Because the way I see it, Sadam was exactly like Hitler. Power, Money, evil (mass graves). Sadam had a person killed if he said his name in public. If we did not take Sadam out of power, I could totally see WWIII coming. Sadam had the power and DID produce weapons of mass destruction. He used biological weapons on his own people, thats a fact. Sadam harbored terrorists, and could have given BinLaden weapons (which he would then use on us). You see, it all comes back to terrorists, not typically BinLaden so the war in Iraq was in the right direction with the fight against terrorism. Kerry focuses on BinLaden. To him he was the only threat. What about the rest of the Middle East. Is there only one mastermind behind all of terrorism? No.

I'm not a biased Republican because I listen to both of thier views. The thing is, Kerry has none. He doesn't stand on his own point of view and lets the public sway him for votes. Bush stands by his decision whether people like it or not. What we need in america is not a flip flopper, but a leader. :flag:

Politics are teh suck....

I've never voted before, just because I didn't feel someone "uninterested about the politicians" should but I will this year, and I will vote for ONE reason only.

I know WAY too many people that have been laid off this year and don't have descent jobs because of the shape of the economy. The two most important was myself and my dad. Within 2 weeks of each other and we worked in different states. I was lucky, because I'm young. I found another job within a week, but I was willing to move and took a cut in pay.

My dad has never been on unemployment his WHOLE life... and he's been out of a job for too damn long. For a SR. manufacturing engineer to go from his salary to a job as a maintenance worker at a local feed mill just above minimum wage is quite sad indeed. He's been taking off work about once a week for interviews, but NOTHING is out there in this area and it's been getting worse. Giving up his house and land is something that is being considered and that is a sad, sad thing. Fortunately my dad can take early retirement and be okay, due to HIS planning and financial investments in life.

Combine this fact with the price of gas.... Bush is teh suck.....

Now back to talking about mustangs that I can't afford to mod.

BTW - I don't like Kerry either... I just dislike him less than Bush.

I agree that Sadaam=a version of Hitler thus giving WWIII in the future. But if he made weapons then where are they? Why haven't we found them, cause if we did i know they would have put it ALLL OVER TV just like they did when the supposedly found Sadaam in a hole...lol.

You guys gotta think to...Bush HAS TO STICK TO HIS VIEWS. LOL He cant turn around and say anything different because he already dived into the pool. If Kerry thought at first something, than had time to rethink than fine, thats the advantage to coming second and seeing the first person's mistakes. Just like on fear factor :rlaugh:

I think Kerry would be able to lead. Neither of them is the answer right now in my opinion, but something about Bush just smells fishy  Too many personal problems affecting decisions with our country.

I would think the same thing your not suppling my friend Joe with more body armor and or ammo.

But that was before THIS war obviosly people have to change opinion when neccecery once the cirumstances change.

I don't belive anyone should make there choice for presendent, who hasnt watched all the debates, if you havent you lost alot of great information on both candidates. I know AOL had the debates with there service, you could watch them there.

Someone said you should take a test before voting I would love for everyone to take a test and depending on there answers it would make a score for each cadidate. So you views would determin who you vote for.

The problem with that is, debates are "plans" - ACTIONS are what I'm voting for.... and Bush had his chance. Will Kerry be better? Probably not, but what the hell - I'm ready to give him a shot for 4 years, then kick his arse out if he is teh suck too.

A very simple question: Do you Kerry supporters believe that Bush is the sole reason for the economy?

Saddam made WMD's back in his day...and if Bush didn't give a good reason (search for WMD's) then he would not have the support of other countries...I believe they actually did think there were WMD's and had strong suspicions about it so therefore had to go over to Iraq to see...

The bottom line is that the world is a better place now...and will get better as this becomes resolved... :nice:

And on the 9/11 attacks (yes it does have a connection to both the war in Iraq and the economy (not just Bushes fault  ))...What do you think Al Gore would have did when those attacks happened...just said "Ahh...we forgive them for killing all those innocent lives?" Nope...he would go on a "bombing" raid as Bush did...think about it...

History shows that America traditionally votes for the "man" in office while war is present...maybe will get a repeat of what history has taught us...

If Kerry gets elected it could very well show the world (other countries) that the United States made a mistake and if "their" (us) own people can't trust their government in their decision than why should allies and others trust us?

Probably for the time being I see Bush as being the optimum choice...though I appreciate both sides for their own reasons...

I do have other reasons and i know this is a different war, Kerry says he has a plan but what is it? I am really asking, not being a smartass. I have watched 2 of the Presidential debates and the Vice pres. debate. I am a republican and i took that test you were talking about and i was 84% Bush and 16% Kerry. I don't like everything Bush has done, but i do believe he is the best person for the job right now. TO everyone their own :nice:

they accually made a test?

If you still have the link I would like to take the test.

One problem i do hate about this election is its souly based on peoples opinion of the war.

I still love all the terror threats we got from "intellegence" not one that was stated on the news has come true to this day.

Thats HYPE if you ask me, control your country with fear of terrorist attacks, that will get you support! I know i was one of them.
