OT: Look what Harbor Freight has on sale

I agree 100%, but this jack seems to be the exception to that rule. They're pretty damn stout. You'd be hard pressed (get it? hard pressed.. jack? Ha ha, I kill me!) to break one of these. That is, unless they've changed manufacturers recently.

I couldn't agree more. The tools all look good and stout, but ... they use cheap steel and most things I buy from them I usually bend or buy for a "single use only" type of thing, knowing it won't last. Just as long as ya don't thing you are buying a tool that will last a lifetime! HA! I just can't justify spending the BIG bucks for Snap-On tools, when they seem to break just as often as Craftsman tools. Maybe I just am too hard on tools!

I agree :D it depends on the item/tool. They have some good deals there, and I swear some of what they sell is the exact same (not just a Chinese copy) as the Craftsman stuff w/o the name--and for a much better price.

I've never purchased anything real expensive from them. However I bought there 1/2 inch Thunder impact gun for $79.99 on sale. I'm very impressed with it. It has 600 ft. lb. capacity. Also have the air 25,000 rpm cut wheel, air nibbler, and a bunch of other air tools.
