how far is the panel from where you want to add the welder?

The outlet from page one is about 30 or so feet, but ~50 feet where the wire is ran. We already have some serious juice going into just our garge, not counting the pool house, pool pump, well, guest house, and main house.

The panel is in the garage, but I'm just gonna try to get a smaller welder, and not burn the bitch down. Hell, if I can find a small 110V welder, that's what I want anyways.

What are you going to need to weld?? I just borrowed a 110 vlot 15 amp unit made by Lincoln and it welded 1/8th in plate. Thats about the max it will weld but may do what you need it to do. Its 110 volt with a max output of 100amps. It is a small welder but did a good job. Just a thought.

I was getting the one I have because I've used it before, and I like it. It does seem a bit big, but I thought my garage was already wired for it.
