i thought it was used motor oil? That's what they did to tractors and trucks back in the day as "rustproofing". Some guy actually coats the underside in GREASE? wtfEvery once in a while, a dude stops in here that at one point, completely coated the underside of his car is bearing grease. There's a thread about it somewhere around here.

Well, it's not just Fox bodies. There's a thread on one of the S197 forums from a guy whose key fob isn't working right. He argues that the battery can't be dead because it still starts the car (fob is connected to key). Eventually he tests the battery and decides it's not dead. How could it be, he reasons, all his other fobs lasted 8+ years and he never even knew they had batteries in them. I couldn't keep reading with any seriousness, but I think he bought a new key/fob before deciding to try replacing the battery.
I'm not flexible enough to kick myself in the nuts.
