When I bought my 90, the first thing I did was an oil change. I remembered there were two drain plugs and decided to empty the front one first. Much to my surprise at least 3 quarts came out. I dumped that into an empty bottle and moved to the back plug where around 5 more quarts came out. My thinking is that the PO took the car to Jiffy Lube and some knowledgeable technician said "5.0 Mustangs take 8 quarts" not realizing there was a difference between the new and old 5.0 motors.

I've already tossed my lawnmower in the trunk of my Taurus a couple time. Of course, the Taurus trunk is so big, I could get the whole thing in there and shut the trunk....and still fit a couple bodies in there as well.

That’s why I’ve about given up on helping on Facebook. You try to get someone to troubleshoot and the next 5 guys yell out random guesses.

When I had that surging idle thing I checked the air in my tires, yep, one had low air pressure, didn't fix the idle thing but I think the car went faster.
