Okay, I get the feeling that I should have O/D off when I race.. But I'm asking for everyones opinion here.

O/D off or on when racing?

Off. There is no reason to be in overdrive in the 1/4. I have 3.73's and 3rd still has plent left when I cross the stripe.

When I switch it on and off, it feels like the car doesn't have as much pull when the o/d is off. Is it all in my head?

I've been racing with my o/d on, and I lost all of them. Could that have been the reason?

I dont think its all in your head. Mine feels slower too. I leave the O/D off all the time unless Im on the freeway. No reason for 4th when your doing 35 cruising down the street.

It also makes the car somewhat louder when I turn o/d off.

Oh well, I've been driving with it on since August, might as well keep it on.
