Well here is the run down guys. There is moister coming out the exhaust (not much, just noticeable). There is a milky white substance in the crank case exhaust(yes I know this means coolant). But if i did bust a head gasket wouldnt the oil be that color also, every time I check the dip stick it is the same oil color. Also the upper tube of the coolant system, the on that connects to the radiator to the thermostat housing becomes very hard and hot while the radiator is very cool to the touch. Now my question is if the thermostat was not working or was put in backwards would it cause enough pressure to seep into the engine its self? Also i dont think my car could be making this much power with a head gasket leak, i mean really, its the fastest thing i have ever drove so far. let me know what you think

My head gasket went a while ago, pretty much had the same symptoms with my car, also with white smoke coming out of the exhaust. Never had white stuff in my oil ethier... Not a cheap fix if it is the head gasket, Mine was 2,500.

And I had a friend with a 94 V6, and he got unbelievable power out of his car shortly before his engine went...

$2,500!!!!,the most i would pay is the price for the gasket and do it with some freinds....was your car and your freinds supercharged for NA?

Keep in mind I live in Canada, so in US dollars it would be like $1,800. Still, that is very high I think. That's how much Ford charged me, I wish I could have done it myself. But I lack the environment to have that accomplished. Really had no choice but to take it though Ford, some of the shops around gave me the impression that they didn't know what they were doing.

And both me and friends car are Naturally-Aspirated.

Cheers,
Alex

You got screwed! I was going to the engine swap, but decided against it. I'm in the process of having the head gasket replaced on my V6, 1st quote came in at $1400Can. (Goodyear Automotive) shopping around I'll gotten it down to $850Can worst case, which would be replacing the heads due to a crack. Its a nine hour job by the book, but a good mechanic will have that down to about 5hrs. In Ontario for $2500 Can. I could swap the engine to a 5L, replace my rad, struts, coil springs etc etc. I just don't have the extra disposable cash to swap it over to 5L, or I'd be going that route.
Damn you got taken to the cleaners.
