Every time I think my Cobra is slow, I drive my truck or my notch for a week, then get back in the Cobra, and I'm like This thing is out of control fast!!!! hehe

It is all the same with everyone.

Gosh guys, I don't think ANYBODY has it as terrible as ME!

I can't REMEMBER how it felt to go fast anymore. I mean....my DD is a WRX which I just found out has a deleted cat in the downpipe as well as a few other mods, so it's only pushing around like 240 hp.

Seriously! HOW am I supposed to take my kids to school with only 240 hp and 13 psi of boost? Let alone get groceries.....this is RIDICULOUS!

last I heard his daddy wouldnt let him have one

to the OP, I would start a new project. with everything you know now you could make the new car much faster and cheaper since you will know exactly what you want out of it from the get go.

ill advised

The only time my car feels slow is when I'm losing. lol Other than that, my '90 is a blast to drive every time I get in it.

sell it like everyone else lmao.

Id commit suicide if I had to DD my car anymore....did it for 4 years including 3 winters, one of them on MT ET radials, and that was the end of my DD duty for my mustang, now I drive it when I feel like it, much more enjoyable that way.

I'll argue that. After watching a friend have to rebuilt his 600hp setup 3 times, another friend having problems as well as my 89 not going perfectly, I said **** it. I'm parting out my 89 for now, and parking it. I picked up a 93 Cobra, and its staying stock. No idle problems, working AC, good mileage, turns heads, etc.

my problem is that everyone on the road thinks that my car is SOOOO fast, and figure its a 400+ hp car like the thousands you see in magazines and internet vids, but its not. and then cops!!! cops see the car and are ALWAYS out to get me. they try and follow me waiting for me to do anything to give them an excuse to pull me over.

not trying to be a bit ch or anything, but thats a phrase i wish people would consider a little more before they use it. i'm sure most think nothing of it, but i warn all my new friends not to say stuff like that, b/c my gf's mom made her go get the gun she used to shoot herself with (in the face), in front of her and her little sister when they were 8 and 6 years old. and i'm sure a lot of people have had experience with the subject that make the phrase very unacceptable to them also.... When people say stuff like that, it really cuts deep into people that have been affected by suicides... sorry for the rant, but its just something that i'd like to see change because it affects me personally, and i know i'm not the only one.

edit: my point is, when someone says something like that, or go shoot yourself in the head, etc, i know they don't really mean anything by it. but when my gf hears it, it stops her in her tracks and makes her re-live the incident again, which i can't even imagine having to witness. i hope at least one person maybe remembers what i have to say, and thinks twice before they say something like this....

thats just the way it is man. i thought it was just me, but then i realized that some of my friends with some of the baddest cars in town (really some of the fastest street and track cars around my parts) think that their cars feel slow now too and they dont even know where to go with them next as far as mods...its all just a part of the scene

I have been driving my New baby (GT500) since sept of 06 and it has yet to feel slow. BUT 550 rwhp and 525 rwtq well keep you from feeling slow. I love my car and if it does start to feel slow a 75 shot will wake it up....
