Anyone know off-hand what color the signal wire is? I tried searching but didn't come up with anything.

Thanks Tbovee. There are some great diagrams there that I've been looking for for a while. I found a good diagram of a 4 wire O2 sensor, but I think mine are only 3 wire on my 86. Two wires are the same color on each and the 3rd wire is a different color so I'm guessing that the signal wire is the different colored one.

when u get under there you can tell which one was the signal wire....

red for power
black for ground

other your signal


been awhile sence i been under there... i got it right the first time when i installed my A/f gauge!

I am pretty sure that pre 87 are different than 87-93. Autometer will give you the exact pin and wire on their website.

I checked their site already. Nothing beneficial. I think I have it figured out now though. Thanks for the replies everyone.
