oxygen sensor wiring-92

hi guys,
check engine light came on and the code reader says bad HEGO. i bought a universal O2 sensor(no plug) and need help with the wires. can anyone tell me the wiring code for a 2.3 1992(convert if it matters), so i can splice the new sensor into the plug. thanks

Hi,

If you register at Autzone.com, theres a whole bunch of wiring diagrams you could look through. I looked at the one on Alldata for the O2 sensor and theres various coloured wiring going to that O2 sensor.

Is there any instructions in the box that tell you what the SGN RTN ect is?

the only instructions say what the sensor's wires connect to, not what colors are on my vehicle. thanks for the tip.
