p-51 intake manifold? anyone using it?

The stock intake is actually quite good as long as you do not have the type prone to cracking. No need to replace it unless you replace it with a s/c kit that includes a new intake.

You should think about a different mod in my opinion.

Unless you luck into a good deal on a Bullitt intake... Even then though there are a lot of supporting parts you will need.

yeah i been reading some ups and down about the intake.....im still wondering if i should get it or if i shuold get some stage 2 patriot heads and crower stage 2 cams....i dont know...

i would go with the heads and cams first. check out the mph heads to while you are looking at them. i have heard some good stuff about them.

fox lake will do a good job. i was out at their shop once, very nice setup. i however went with patriot stage 2 heads because they offered a lot more plus i didn't have to send them my cores. they have always been very friendly and helpful, i would highly reccomend patriot as well.

your gonna get a lot of people saying they had problems with them or whatever, this was probably about 3 years ago when they were new to the game. any issues they had have been addressed a long time ago, i run them on my car with no problems at all. fox lake is a very good company as well though. i just couldn't see myself spending 2k at fox lake for the same thing that i could get at patriot for close to 700 less.

i feel the same way about that....Plus if i buy the patriot heads then i can sell the ones i have on there and recoupe some of the money i put into them..only problem is that i have windsor PI heads on here now and the ones i want are romeo's luckily for me my NPI 98 GT had romeo heads with the RIGHT valve covers so I got lucky there...IM hoping to break 300 rwhp with this setup...
